War Thunder Cheat Not Working: Causes and Fixes
Before opening a ticket, run through the usual suspects. Most problems come down to a patch, a requirement or a license issue.
When a cheat that worked yesterday stops today, the cause is usually simple. Work through this list in order, since the first few items explain most cases.
1. A patch or update just landed
This is the most common reason. After a War Thunder update or an Easy Anti-Cheat change, a product may be paused while it is updated. Open the status page before doing anything else. If the product is listed as offline or updating, there is nothing to fix on your end. Levo includes free updates during your key, so you wait for the update instead of paying again.
2. Your key or plan has expired
Check your subscription in your account. It sounds obvious, but it is a regular cause, especially with weekly plans.
3. The loader is not running as Administrator
The store’s tools list running the loader as Administrator in their requirements. Close it, then start it again with administrator rights.
4. Your system does not meet the requirements
The supported platform is Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, on an Intel or AMD CPU unless the product page says otherwise. Check the requirements for War Thunder specifically, and read any extra line on the page before assuming something is broken.
5. You are using an old loader
Download the latest loader from your portal rather than reusing an older file. Updates do not help if you launch a previous version.
6. The license is tied to another PC
If you changed hardware or reinstalled Windows, the license may need a reset. Use the HWID reset in your portal, or open a support ticket.
7. You skipped part of the guide
Return to the setup guide and follow it in order. The steps are ordered for a reason, and a missed step is easy to overlook the second time you read it.
8. A previous ban is involved
If your machine has been flagged in the past, the problem may be a ban rather than a software fault. That is a different situation and a HWID spoofer · 2 is the tool people usually look at.
Before you contact support
Collecting a few details speeds things up a lot:
- What you were doing when the problem started
- Any message or error you saw
- Your Windows version
- Whether War Thunder updated recently
- What you have already tried
Then use the Discord for live help or open a ticket. Support runs around the clock, so you do not have to wait for office hours.
One last point
Avoid changing system settings you do not understand while troubleshooting. If the guide does not cover it, ask support first.
